Abstracts for Consideration for the Young EMERG SPARK ME Workshop
Please follow the guidelines below if you are interested in submitting an abstract for consideration for a poster presentation at the workshop.

Abstract Submission: The Young EMERG SPARK ME workshop is a meeting intended for early career biomedical researchers to collaborate, share ideas and knowledge about ME, or related research areas that will help in building the future research community for this disease. The guidelines for submitting abstracts for consideration at the SPARK ME workshop for early career researchers are detailed below.
Submission Guidelines:
Scope: Submit abstracts on unpublished or ongoing biomedical research related to myalgic encephalomyelitis, or in a field that would be of relevance to researchers involved in research into ME, preferably focusing on one of the following topics:
- Infection
- Nervous System
- Immune System
- Metabolism
- Epigenomes and Transcriptomes
- Physiology
Format: Concise abstracts (max 300 words) which includes a title of no more than 15 words. Include authors names and affiliations. Sections to include: Background/Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
Eligibility: SPARK ME workshop registrants.
Deadline: Abstracts due by 31 March 2024.
Review: Submissions will be reviewed by the Young EMERG committee.
Notification: Authors of accepted abstracts notified as soon as possible.
